Consulting Service Offerings

Growing a business is part art, part science. “Art” means thinking strategically about where you want your business to go . . . but this focus alone does not result in more business. Strategic thinking, coupled with the tactical (the "science”), is required. Methodically analyzing your capabilities, your competition and your target customer is critical to success. Now, it is time to make your "pitch" to potential clients — Federal or Commercial. Customer interaction — client meetings, technical demonstrations, written proposals, oral presentations, etc. — must be carefully orchestrated to win new business. Only then, and with the right follow up, will you be positioned to close the deal.

    The Significance of HARP

The company name Harp holds special meaning. Ireland is unique for having a musical instrument, the harp, for its national symbol. Familial ties to the Emerald Isle — where Ms. McCarthy received her Masters degree from Trinity College — go back generations. As an infant, Ms. McCarthy's paternal grandfather immigrated to the U.S. from County Cork, Ireland. He grew up to be a successful businessman in his adopted city of Boston. Harp is founded upon that same entrepreneurial spirit.
